Grief's Process

"There are five well established stages to grieving the loss of a relationship which were first identified by Elizabeth Kübler-Ross in her book On Death and Dying. The well established stages of grief were introduced by Elizabeth Kübler-Ross in her book On Death and Dying (1969). The stages may be summed up like this:

First Stage: Denial and Isolation: "No, not me, it can not be true."
Second Stage: Anger: "Why me? It's not fair."
Third Stage: Bargaining: "Just let me live to see …."
Fourth Stage: Depression: "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"
Fifth Stage: Acceptance: "It's going to be OK." "
