Live Presentations
Yes, Dr.
Dennis Henderson is available for live presentations of the book. The
book is presented as a four-part multimedia experience that help identify the
characters in the book. The presentations are perfect for short series
such as weekend retreats.
Part 1: "Where is God when you need Him?"
Where is God when you need Him? That’s the question some single-again people have asked in light of their relationship crisis that caused them to become single again. This case study will focus on three singles and how they each handled the crisis of becoming single again differently. A fourth never married single will be introduced in this case study for further examination in the rest of this series. You will see that “…all things God works for the good of those who love him,…”(Romans 8:28)
Part 2: "What Every Single Godly Woman Wants”
Becoming single again tends to force a person to ask one of the following: “What’s wrong with me?” or “What does the opposite sex really want, anyway?” (Never-married singles also ask these same two questions.) This Case Study will focus on the latter question. It will zero in on new relationships and what is necessary for a godly one. You will learn to “Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 73:4)
Part 3: "What Every Single Godly Man Wants.”
This is the flip side of the previous Case Study. This study will not offer politically correct suggestions—instead it will propose Biblically correct relationships. From all these case studies you will be able to posture yourself for better future relationships and, even if you never have a future relationship, posture yourself for a better relationship with God. You will be challenged to “…Desire to live honorably in every way.” (Hebrews 13:18)
Part 4: "What God Wants for Every Single Person”
From the previous Case Study discussions one single person thought the world, as it had been known, had come to an end. In fact it did. But God had something much better to make of the world. In this last part of the Case Study what God wants for every single person will be explored. You will hear “... I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
